1. Our Commitment to Accessibility

UAIU Holdings Corp, operating ADAWCAG.org, is firmly committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe the web must be usable by everyone, regardless of ability, and we continually work to improve the user experience for all visitors by applying the relevant accessibility standards established by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). This commitment is not aspirational. It is operational. Every feature we ship, every page we publish, and every audit we deliver is built around accessibility from the first line of code.

As a company whose entire product offering is built around ADA Title II and Title III compliance, WCAG 2.1 conformance, Section 508 alignment, and DHS Trusted Tester methodology, we hold ourselves to the highest possible standard. Our platform is audited by our own certified auditors, including our lead auditor who is blind and DHS Trusted Tester certified, using the same methodology we apply to client engagements.

2. Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. The guidelines define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. ADAWCAG.org is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Substantially conformant means the majority of the content fully meets the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard, with continuous remediation underway on any identified exceptions.

This statement reflects the conformance status of the primary ADAWCAG.org domain and its subdomains, including the audit dashboard, free audit funnel at /freeaudit, pricing pages, client portals, and the public llms.txt machine-readable accessibility index. Our platform undergoes continuous automated scanning using axe-core, pa11y, and Google Lighthouse, supplemented by quarterly human audits conducted under the DHS Trusted Tester protocol.

3. Measures We Take to Support Accessibility

Accessibility is integrated into every stage of our development lifecycle. The measures below represent our ongoing program, not a one-time certification.

  • Accessibility is included in our internal policies, employee onboarding, and contractor agreements.
  • Accessibility requirements are embedded in our procurement process for third-party tools, fonts, and content management systems.
  • Continuous automated scanning is performed on every production deployment using axe-core, pa11y, and Google Lighthouse.
  • Quarterly manual audits are conducted by a DHS Trusted Tester certified auditor using assistive technology, including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.
  • Our lead auditor is blind and uses the site daily with screen reader technology, providing authentic real-world verification that no automated tool can replicate.
  • All new features pass an accessibility review before release, including keyboard navigation testing, color contrast verification, and alternative text validation.
  • Design tokens enforce minimum contrast ratios of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text, exceeding WCAG 2.1 Level AA minimums.
  • We publish a machine-readable accessibility index at /llms.txt to support discovery by AI systems and assistive technology crawlers.

4. Technical Specifications

Accessibility of ADAWCAG.org relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on the user’s device. These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.

  • HTML5 with semantic elements and ARIA landmarks
  • WAI-ARIA 1.2 for enhanced semantics and live regions
  • CSS3 with logical properties and responsive design
  • JavaScript (ECMAScript 2022) with progressive enhancement
  • SVG with inline title and description elements

5. Compatibility with Browsers and Assistive Technology

ADAWCAG.org is designed to be compatible with the following assistive technologies and browser combinations. We test against the most current and the immediately prior major version of each.

  • JAWS 2024 and 2025 with Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge on Windows
  • NVDA 2024 and 2025 with Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome on Windows
  • VoiceOver on macOS 14 and later with Safari
  • VoiceOver on iOS 17 and later with Safari
  • TalkBack on Android 13 and later with Google Chrome
  • Dragon NaturallySpeaking 16 for speech input
  • ZoomText 2024 and Windows Magnifier for low-vision users
  • Full keyboard navigation without a pointing device

ADAWCAG.org is not compatible with browsers older than two major versions or with Internet Explorer. We encourage users of legacy browsers to update to maintain both accessibility and security.

6. Limitations and Alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of ADAWCAG.org, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed here.

6.1 Known Limitations

  • Legacy PDF audit reports generated prior to January 2026 may not meet all PDF/UA tagging requirements. We offer remediated versions on request at no cost.
  • Embedded third-party video content inherits the accessibility characteristics of its source platform. We caption all first-party video content and are working with providers to improve third-party coverage.
  • Dynamic data visualizations in the audit dashboard are accompanied by accessible data tables, but some interactive filtering controls are still being enhanced for screen reader announcements.

6.2 Alternative Access

If any content or functionality on ADAWCAG.org is inaccessible to you, or if you require information in an alternative format, we will provide it promptly and at no cost. Contact us by email at justin@adawcag.org or by phone at (844) 232-9224. We commit to acknowledging all accessibility requests within one business day and resolving them within five business days whenever technically feasible.

7. Assessment Approach

UAIU Holdings Corp assessed the accessibility of ADAWCAG.org using the following methodology, which mirrors the methodology we apply to every client engagement.

  • Self-evaluation using the WCAG-EM (Website Accessibility Conformance Evaluation Methodology) framework published by the W3C.
  • External evaluation performed by our DHS Trusted Tester certified lead auditor using the Trusted Tester Conformance Test Process for Section 508.
  • Automated testing using axe-core, pa11y, and Lighthouse on a continuous integration schedule.
  • User testing with assistive technology users, including native screen reader users and keyboard-only users.

Nothing in this statement waives any legal right or remedy available to you under federal, state, or local law.

9. Legal and Regulatory Alignment

This accessibility statement is published to demonstrate alignment with the following legal and regulatory frameworks that govern digital accessibility in the United States and internationally.

  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title II, as updated by the Department of Justice Final Rule published April 24, 2024, and amended by the Interim Final Rule effective April 20, 2026.
  • Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III, as applied to public accommodations and commercial facilities.
  • Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and the Revised 508 Standards.
  • Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 for federally funded programs and activities.
  • Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA) for covered travel and transportation content.
  • 21st Century Communications and Video Accessibility Act (CVAA) where applicable.
  • European Accessibility Act (EAA) for covered products and services offered in the European Union.
  • EN 301 549 for public sector bodies in the European Union.
  • Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) for Canadian users.

10. Regulatory Update Notice

On April 20, 2026, the U.S. Department of Justice published an Interim Final Rule extending the compliance dates for ADA Title II web and mobile application accessibility requirements. The compliance date for state and local government entities serving populations of 50,000 or more has been extended from April 24, 2026, to April 26, 2027. The compliance date for public entities serving populations under 50,000, and for special district governments, has been extended from April 26, 2027, to April 26, 2028. Public comments on the Interim Final Rule close June 22, 2026.

The substantive requirements of the rule, including the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard and the private right of action under the ADA, remain unchanged. ADAWCAG.org updated its platform, audit engine, client reports, and public-facing documentation to reflect the new compliance timeline within hours of the rule becoming effective. Clients with active engagements received automated timeline adjustments and revised remediation calendars the same day.

11. Formal Complaint Procedure

If you believe ADAWCAG.org has failed to provide accessible content or has otherwise discriminated on the basis of disability, you may file a formal complaint using the procedure below.

  • Submit a written complaint by email to justin@adawcag.org with the subject line “Formal Accessibility Complaint.”
  • Include the URL or page where the barrier was encountered, a description of the barrier, the assistive technology or browser used, and your preferred method of response.
  • We will acknowledge receipt within one business day and provide a substantive response within fifteen business days, or a written explanation and revised timeline if additional time is required.
  • If the matter is not resolved to your satisfaction, you may contact the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division at ADA.gov or call 1-800-514-0301 (voice) or 1-833-610-1264 (TTY).

12. Statement Governance

This accessibility statement was created on April 20, 2026, using guidance from the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) and the template structure recommended in the W3C resource “Developing an Accessibility Statement.” It was reviewed and approved by the ADAWCAG.org accessibility coordinator and will be reviewed no less than quarterly, or immediately upon any material change to platform architecture, applicable law, or the WCAG standard itself.

This statement is a living document. The most current version is always available at https://adawcag.org/accessibility. A dated archive of prior versions is maintained for auditor review and legal record-keeping.

13. W3C WAI Evaluation Tools List

ADAWCAG.org is listed in the W3C WAI Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools List, a public directory maintained by the W3C Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) of tools that authors and evaluators may use to help determine how well web content meets the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). Inclusion in this list reflects the tool’s stated support for WCAG evaluation and does not constitute an independent conformance assessment by W3C.

Non-endorsement notice: W3C does not endorse vendors or vendor products, or any particular product, service, or website. Inclusion of ADAWCAG.org in this list does not imply W3C endorsement.
